What is HIVE?
HIVE is a comprehensive business management software developed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises in Switzerland. The software covers all important business processes - from quotation creation to invoicing to accounting and VAT settlement.
HIVE is available in two variants that can be used individually or combined:
- Desktop application (Windows; macOS in preparation) — either fully local without internet (local mode) or connected to your HIVE account (remote mode)
- HIVE Web App — the application in your browser at app.inatsolutions.com, no installation required, also on tablet and smartphone
In remote mode, both variants work on the same data: whatever you enter in the web app is instantly visible in the desktop application — and vice versa. This manual describes the desktop application; the web app closely follows its workflow. The features available in the web app are described per area in the documentation.
