What is HIVE?
HIVE is a comprehensive business management software developed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises in Switzerland. The software covers all important business processes - from quotation creation to invoicing to accounting and VAT settlement.
HIVE is available in two variants that can be used individually or combined:
- Desktop application (Windows; macOS in preparation) — either fully local without internet (local mode) or connected to your HIVE account (remote mode)
- HIVE Web App — the complete application in your browser at app.inatsolutions.com, no installation required, also on tablet and smartphone
Both variants offer the same core features and, in remote mode, work on the same data: whatever you enter in the web app is instantly visible in the desktop application — and vice versa. This manual describes the desktop application; the web app is functionally identical, so all chapters apply there as well.
